Special Issue in "Actuators"

A related Special Issue has been launched in the MDPI journal Actuators in connection with the 9th MOBILE MACHINES Conference and the 11th Hybrid and Energy-Efficient Drives for Mobile Working Machines. The Special Issue is entitled "Energy-Efficient Actuation and Intelligent Assistance for Mobile Work Machines" and provides an opportunity to publish extended journal versions of selected high-quality conference contributions.

The Special Issue offers authors the opportunity to turn their conference contribution into a more comprehensive journal publication and to present their work to a broader international audience. Extended submissions will be treated as independent journal publications and will undergo the standard peer-review process of Actuators. Compared with the conference version, the journal manuscript should include substantial new content, such as additional experimental or simulation results, deeper analysis, or further methodological or theoretical development. A new title and abstract are expected.

The submission deadline is July 31, 2027. Selected outstanding papers may be considered for APC waivers or discounts, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Further information is available on the Special Issue website:

Special Issue "Energy-Efficient Actuation and Intelligent Assistance for Mobile Work Machines"
